Starting our K-1 journey

Hi everyone,

First of all let me say that this site is awesome. Great stories and tips regarding this exciting but also confusing (cause of the paperworks) journey we are embarking.

My fiancée and I are just starting to fill out the I-129F form so we can get me a K-1 visa so we can get married and start our life together.

We filled it out ourselves but have doubts about an items on the form. I browsed the Internet, VJ forum and even called the USCIS but didn't find a answer for my q.

That's why I decided to post it on here to see if anyone out there can help us. Since we don't want to fill out the forms wrong and have them send back to us and delay the process.

On the part B. information about your alien fiance. Q# 12. I'm currently in the stated for 3 months visiting my love. I will be leaving back to Aruba in September

We have to fill out arrival/departure record (I-94) number. My question is what to I fill out here since I don't have a 1-94 number.

I have an ESTA visa and it doesn't have a number on it. Do I leave it open or is there a special code I have to fill in? Or should I send a copy of my ESTA visa with the I-129F?

The date authorized stay expired is written in my passport when the us costumes in Aruba stamped it. So that part we can fill out.

You would put "None, VWP" (which is Visa Waiver Program) or something to that effect.

Thank you for your reply. I will do that. I think I will add a copy of my VWP also..
