Thats a little strange. How did they schedule an interview for you when NVC hasn't even approved your visa? Normally it goes like this, after you get approved by NVC, your status should say approved, NOA2, NVC sends your package to Ghana, you get your packet 3&4, your interview date is set and you go for your interview. At least thats how it happened in my case.

Are you sure you have an interview date? Sound to me like you're still at USCIS... If is still showing as "Initial Review".... I would double check on that....

Good Luck to you if you do have an "interview date".....

  It happens many times that the USCIS dashboard for your case status will not be updated. Although a reference, it is not a reliable source to go by in tracking your journey. If you have NOA2, your petition was forwarded to the embassy, and an interview was scheduled for you, you are approved for that interview and need to start planning for that. Good luck!

I think you guys are not on top of things that is why you having this doubt or something, I personally think you guys did not track your case at NVC level before it was forwarded to the embassy , if you have a case number starting with ACC then you have nothing to worry about , have you done your medicals and police report already?, just make sure you prepare for the interview with all your evidence and necessary documents .

Met through a friend on Facebook

This is not the first time the computer has not updated. About a year ago, one person was already here in the states on K1 visa and MARRIED... she said the computer was still initial review
