STA I think that they are holding our interview until close to our anniversary. we should hear something within the next two weeks....

i am totally convinced that the anniversary date has nothing to do with anything.

i have talked to so many customer service from USCIS, went for infopass and analyzed a lot of data points from various cases on different forums and getting in line for interview scheduling is just a consequence of FBI check being completed and is done by NBC and not the DO. Then DO picks up your file and schedules it for interview almost 5 weeks before interview.

Well, FBI checks don't take more than a week, mostly same day. I have had many background checks on myself with the FBI since I work for an airlines and they normally take less than two days. I did make a Congressional inquiry and that's what they told me " I have confirmed this morning that this case has not yet been scheduled for an interview, and appears to be being held until meeting the residency requirement."

There is a phone number to call FBI and find out the status of the background check . They'll need A number and will be able to tell if they sent the report back to USCIS or not yet . I called a very next day after my fingerprints and lady told me that they successfully processed it and sent the report back to USCIS . If you guys need the number I might look it up again .

Right . But USCIS will not schedule for interview untill 3/5 years mark , even though they might put one in line for interview scheduling before 3/5 years mark.

Exactly KY derby. FBI line doesn't give fingerprints results anymore.

what you are referring is the result of FBI fingerprint check and yes, they will answer. but the other one is the FBI namecheck which in my case is still pending and they only respond to USCIS and not the applicant regarding the result.
