I just received in my email that RFE is on the way

my fiance and I are in the philippines. of course the rfe would be mailed in his US address my questions are..

1) usually how many days aFter the email would u receive the notice (hard copy)

2) how should I send the rfe? like the whole package thing again???

3) do they mention what they really need from you in the notice? I knew already that ill be getting one cause I did attach the 1st page of my fiance's passport. i didnt attach his other pages that gives him proof that we met 2 yrs prior and he was here in the philippines.

aww sad but at least I know they touched mine. thank you so much for all the replies!

My case was updated on May 7 that an RFE has been mailed and I received the hard copy on May 9. The hard copy will tell you want is/are needed and the address to mail them to (usually to the service center that is processing your case).

You will have to wait until you see what The Request for Evidence is. If the USC did not suppley a Passport/or/Proof of meeting in 2 years. THAT IS IT. About 2 weeks. You are ONLY answering the RFE. Not sending a new Petition.

Just wait for ur RFE hardcopy and ull know whats ur RFE. Dont worry after that, next is the approval notice. Ive experienced that before.Look at my timeline

by the way sis do I have to include the hard copy of the rfe sent by uscis? cause My fiance and i are both here the rfe will be mailed to his place in IL. i was thinking of just waiting for his ate to call us to tell us what the rfe needs from us and go straight to fedex and mail it.

Here are some RFE tips from the VJ Wiki that you may want to consider when handling your RFE. There have also been a couple of recent threads where it was recommended to sending your RFE response in the envelope provided to assure proper distribution at the service center.
