Hi,

I am looking for a notary in Mati, Davao Oriental so my fiance can get a parental consent form notarized for CFO. Not sure if it will be required for CFO, but the "other document" clause is open ended. Can anyone point me in the right direction to arrange for the paretnal consent form to be notarized in Mati? Your help is greatly appreciated.

My wife is from Mati. I've been there many times. I don't know a notary as we never had to do that. My wife was 27 when we were married in Hawaii.

Mati is a small town but it has most things you would expect in a small town. I would think that would include legal counsel as well as notary services. I would have your fiance ask at city hall if they can refer one to her.

My wife and I were married in Hawaii but after one year in the US we went back to Mati and had a second wedding there for her family. We were married in the Cathedral in Mati and had a nice reception at Honey's hotel. If you ever decide to do that we can recommend the people that handled everything for us including party, video, pics etc. My wife said it was her dream wedding and it made her very happy as well as the family.

I hope you are able to find a notary and everything goes well for you both. We had no problems with our CFO or any part of our process either.

I think Notary required only age below 25.. So seems your wife doesn't need one. i got married 25 but i travel to US at the age of of 24..kicking.gifkicking.gif
