I already got a letter that from NVC that process at nvc completed my interview is at islamabad embassy on august 27.Can i have my medical done tomorrow. Please let me know. Thanks

Most of hospitals in India do require an interview letter sent in mail by US embassy. I don't know about hospitals in Pakistan, but if they do accept interview notification email, then I don't see any problem to get your medical done.

If your plan is to get an early interview date, then start that process with US embassy. So that will give you an idea when you should schedule your medical exam. BTW, for any hospitals in India medical is not a walk-in procedure. You need to make an appointment before going for an exam. Check with hospitals in Pakistan as well.

Hey Imran,

I have my interview on August 29, and I did my medical just yesterday from hill park hospitals, vaccination and everything has been done so you dont need to worry just keep the letter in email with you, three copies of passport and two pics thats it.

Agha khan was also not busy you can go there as well.

who told you that befoew 25 days its pointless, the medical is valid for 6 months to 1 years after my confirmation from doctor.

Go ahead man.

Guys, my case is with NVC and its been like 2 weeks, will they email me and my wife the interview date or will they just send me the letter via post. However, by your conversations I'm assuming that they will email as well. Also, I'm in Karachi, where do you guys recommend to get the medical from, how's Midcity Hospital?

Kind regds,

Emran

Dear Imran, in NVC web there is a doc dr. javeD in midciti so you can go ahead no worries as far as the doc is recommended by NVC.

Zeeshan thanks, but I didn't quite understand the part where u stated "in NVC there is a doc"??

How long does it usually take for Pakistani applicants to get their interview date from the time all fees are paid and docs are submitted?

Posted (edited)

i meant there is pdf document which stated the names of doctors who can examine only. i have attached a link for you as well.
