No calls for banning knives, baseball bats or guns have been made, except in your head. This OP is just another hero with a gun, guns are awsome thread. Reality be damned.

I see lot of groups who promote guns as a dangerous thing and should be banned and civilans should not have access to it.

How is the banning of other item in my head when I am asking those things can kill too, how come you don't see any group promoting a ban on them?

Because technically, you can make nearly ANYTHING into a deadly weapon. I could stab you to death with a fork, but you can't ban FORKS. Guns only have one purpose.

Again, I am NOT promoting the ban of guns. I am just saying, you can kill someone with most anything, and you can't ban every day objects.

Agree anything can be made into lethal weapon but some groups and some ppl make it political issue and make it sound like guns are so bad.

Comeup with number and portray them in such way that makes guns look bad, makes gun owners look bad or stupid and reckless when most of the time that is not the fact.

Then there are some ppl who would believe everything such organization or group is saying without doing their own research.

As any tool each has its main purpose and in this instance gun has its own purpose based on it we cannot say its good or bad.

Gun can be used to protect your friend and family your country or to get food and gun can be used in robbery or some senseless killing.
