tax transcripts or form 1040

Hi!

I will have my interview in US Embassy Abu Dhabi in 6days, and I am still confused with tax transcripts and form 1040. My fiance sent me the Form 1040 and not the Tax transcripts, will this be a problem? I hope not coz i have no more time to get the transcripts. PLEASE HELP ANYONE.

it is ok, but 1040 plus w2, they always ask for w2 if you give 1040, but if you give tax transcripts you don't need the w2. that is what i know, but maybe other members can give more info.

We always use only 1040 form, that's okay. If they will want to see something else, they will give you some time after an interview, to find and send them any additional paper. Good luck!

Yes, this will be the problem. Form 1040 is not a tax return and will require W2s and all schedules to be equivalent to tax transcript. 1040 alone is pretty much worthless to put it straight.

I think you only need is 1040EZ and W2 or tax transcript. You are lucky your interview is in 6 days, my interview is after 2 month. Best of luck with your interview we will wait that you share your experience with us.
