Amazon's Super Saver Shipping

Hi, I placed my first order in Amazon.com and my items qualified for the super saver shipping so it's free... I am anticipating it might take longer to be delivered. Does anyone have experience with using the free shipping from amazon? How long did you have to wait till it was shipped to delivery? Thanks...

It's relatively quick. They usually utilize UPS ground which takes about 4-5 days. That's been my experience anyways. If you have a chance to use amazon prime the free two day shipping is great. Sometimes I get my stuff the next day.

I usually get my items within a week using SSS. One time I ordered something on a Wednesday night and it was at my door Friday morning.

In my experience, super saver shipping items usually arrive between two and five business days if you live in the contiguous US. I suggest that you sign up for Amazon Prime free trial. Just remember to cancel if you don't like the service.

My husband and I love Amazon Prime. It helps save money, time and energy. We don't have to drive somewhere to get canned cat food, shampoo, paper towel, water filter, etc. Just as Mithra has mentioned, some Amazon Prime items arrive the following day, like the ones shipped from a city within my state.

I have been using Amazon for a few years now and I have never had an issue with SSS.

I've never had a problem with super saver shipping on anything that was in stock when I ordered it. Once or twice I've had a third party seller take forever, and once they even canceled and refunded on me. But anything fulfilled by Amazon, I've never had a problem and SSS always gets to me in about a little less than a week.

Wow I'm getting excited to receive my orders! I ordered two items from sellers but fulfilled by Amazon and the third item is from Amazon... I hope there won't be delays... I only ordered because I got free gift codes and I wanted to save more with free shipping

We used Super saver regularly - never had a problem - and then signed up with Amazon Prime. We are in our second year and have more than made back our fee through the free shipping - and we get things within 2 days. It's a great service, especially if you order in a lot from Amazon which we do. Now we don't have to wait until we have $25 worth of orders - we just order in what we want when we want it even if it is a used book for $1 - and it comes in 2 days with free shipping.,

yay! my order arrived on time based on Amazon's delivery estimate 7 days excluding weekend

it was shipped from PHOENIX, AZ > NEW BERLIN, WI > INDIANAPOLIS, IN > then Spi, IL the destination. I thought it would be in transit to St. Louis, MO....
