Had my N400 interview on Oct 4, 2011. Was given N-652 said "USCIS will send you a written decision about your application". After months of inquiry and INFOPASS, finally received a letter on April 25, 2012 that states "According to the system your N-400 has been approved and has now been placed in the re-verification section to be re-verified. You will be notified after a date has been set for the Oat Ceremony". No oat letter yet. Did INFOPASS in June to inquire on the status of the case, officer at the desk said will send an information to the supervisor re-verifying the application. Called the USCIS 800# June ending, was told application is still under review and will receive a decision in 60 days.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process. It has been 8 mths since interview

I think reverification is just the final step. It only took two weeks for us. We wouldn't have known that reverification was required unless we had involved our senator's office. That's what we heard from them. Hopefully you will hear soon!

Why not ? When you file a lawsuit, the USCIS has no right on whether to approve or deny your case. It's up to the judge. I see it's a better choice, except the money hiring the lawyer. If you can do it yourself, go for it.

Had 1 arrest for DUI in 1998. No more arrest.

Guess just have t wait and keep praying. Some lawyers advice to file a lawsuit in Federal Court. This might not be the best route.
