Well my wife and son both have there work authorization and advance parole (same card). After fingerprinting the cards were sent to the house and about a week later we get an interview notice for my son. We called since I thought she would need approval before he could be approved and of, course did not get any answers. We all went to the interview and since she was there they looked for and found her file also. We wound up doing both interviews at the same time. The questions were basic, making sure the forms had the correct information by going over them again. asked about joint accounts, school, working and if she was on the lease. about all they wanted was anything that showed we had a joint account and cellphone/facebook pictures. The interviewer said cell phone pictures are a good indication of being together, I get the impression cell phones are considered personal items and people with a few pictures of different events should breeze thru. The interviewer did have a good laugh at some of the funny pictures. all in all I thought it was quite basic for the conditional green card. Now they can fly back for a visit for a few weeks and wait for the cards to arrive. We were told they should arrive in 4-6 weeks.

Congratulations! You will probably get the green cards sooner than you expect. We had a similar situation except the AP was received about two weeks before the green card interview. They confiscated the AP when they approved my wife for her green card. It was so easy that I was sure something was wrong. I was completely prepared for everything that we could have done. Unfortunately my wife didn't have a social security number so we were unable to provide any joint items liking a checking account. It wasn't until we showed photos of my wife and I with my daughter and our new granddaughter that the interviewer gave us the okay.

Again, congratulations. Start reviewing the items needed to remove conditions now and prepare to file for the permanent green card now. The time will fly by and you will have to remember to file within 90 days of expiration of the green card. If you have all the necessary things set up now, it will not be a problem when the time arrives.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
