Hello there everyone! I know its been quite a while since I made a post but none the less I am here and want to let you know what is going on with me :)...After a year and 2 months....I went to Nigeria on May 25th to meet my fiance and we married on June 2, 2012!... there is no regret or shame in me saying that...yep we met and married! I am sooo in love with my POOKIE everything that we built LD was all there and more when we met face to face...when I seen him I knew he was the one... I realize that from what I have read around VJ that meeting and marrying is considered a "red flag" especially for Lagos but that is ok...bc for my God I KNOW it's nothing he can't handle :)...so before I hear the "oh no's you shouldn't have done that" (no disrespect intended) I just wanted to let you know that it's something we are both willing to face and well aware of :). With that said my mom threw me a bridal shower on May 19th before I left and it was LOVELY so many came to support us!...We hope to file no later than the 2nd week of July and I am planning to go back to Nigeria in August or September of this year! Trying to get back over there before school starts...and if he is still there by december go back again with my 2 children and possibly mom :) I truly enjoyed my trip and I miss my husband and his family a lot. I really had a great time! Even the airport experience was not bad...anyway I am slowly but surely getting evidence together to file the I-130...chats/phone records etc... I have changed my name on my ssn, waiting on my drivers license, changed it with my job, passport is next... added him to my credit cards, fortunate I can add him to my bank account :) and we are getting a joint account in Naija and I will be added to his. It is a lot but I am also excited because I am believing for a speedy case! that is just how strong my faith is...I will also be graduating aug 2012 with my BA in Pyschology-emphasis Christian Counseling and on to my Masters! Well that is all...just wanted to let you know what was going on with me I have been quiet but I am still here! Lata gata's Shawnda! hugs!

congrats!! I love your spirit and strong faith.. You will need it on this journey.. Me and my love (Kingsley) have 90 days into this journey I feel we are getting close and I can't waiver now!! Good luck on the filling this site is soooo helpful and compassionate. Take care and good luck!!
