Okay... Here's the thing. My fiance's inteview is set on july 12 but he got sick and so he can't do his medical yet so we want to reschedule the interview. We want to reschedule once he is already fully recovered. Our petition got approved on april 16, 2012. I heard it's only good for 4 months. Does it mean that he needs to have his interview by august 16????. Please advise

Yes, your petition is good for four months. However, the U.S. Embassy Manila will extend it for four more months. Just email them and ask them to extend it. If needed, they will even extend it for four additional months, for a total of one year.

You can reschedule the appointment two or more days before the interview. You can reschedule without having to pay the visa fee again.
