After the RFE...

Ok so after they give the RFE Receipt on the USCIS online check and they give you the weird email saying since they already reviewed our petition yada yada yada....did everyone just receive their NOA2 in the mail (if they've gotten approved) or did they receive lots of touches and then an email with their approval THEN the hard copy in the mail?

No touches. Email approval. More than 2 weeks later, hard copy arrived. 3 weeks to get to NVC and then on to the consulate overnight.

They received our RFE Oct 4. We got touched the 7th. So far nothing.

I guess you can't predict accurately with this sort of thing.

10/02 I sent in the response to RFE

10/10 Email received saying they had received RFE blah blah blah

10/11 Touched

and that's about it, waiting waiting waiting . . . .

I guess it just depends some are approved shortly right after within 2-3 weeks, some have to wait a while longer, we just need to wait and wait and wait

For what it's worth, I was approved 14 days or so later after they received my RFE information

I received that RFE email receipt today too. I hope its close.

I've had 2 touches since the RFE received email. It's now been over 2 weeks and nothing except 2 touches last week. I'm so disheartened, I feel numb.

Well I just answered my own question.....WE GOT APPROVED!!!! We received our receipt for our RFE on 10/17/06 but it's receipt date was 10/16....then later that day we got 5 more emails (well....the next morning as I am in England) and we got the APProval so I checked online and it said APPROVED! Woo Hoo!!!!
