I checked my status online. It shows there was an update 6/13. When I click on the link, it shows status "initial review."

Does anyone know if this has any significance? The only status prior to this was acceptance. My petition was received 6/4 and I received text/ email 6/6. Also it was on the uscis website with tracking info (for case) on 6/6.

My guess is that the VSC received it 6/13.

Just keep in mind that the Status is not necessarily correct from hereon. It is not uncommon for it to show 'initial review' after the petition has been approved and even right through until the visa has been issued and beyond. While checking it can be addictive, you can't really depend on it... All the best to you though

Hi All,

YESSSS!!! I am so happy to announce that I just mailed my K1 packet on June 15th. I was told by the postal attendant that they should receive it on today. Yep, sent it priority with a return receipt. You know...all of the precautionary measures were taken.LOL!! Anyway...I/We are all in this together now. I wish nothing but well wishes to all who filed this month and to those still awaiting a response to whatever questions they have at this point. Right now the nearly 7 month wait doesn't seem long as I've averaged quite a few of those who waited until POE. Right now I said!!LOL...Ingats everybody....

Hi all, I too sent my I-129F this month.

I recieved an I-797C, Notice of Action. It has a receipt number. Is this considered the NOA 1 OR NOA 2.Not really sure. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I filed and it was recieved in TX per US mail so waiting for NOA 1. I also set up an Info Pass appointment for Fri to try and speed it up due to a few conditions (Long shot at best)
