I surely hope they make it easier to legally bring someone in the country. As for what Obama did today. Cheesy campaign ploy, Illegal as hell, and a slap in the face to everyone of us that spent so much time and money following the law to bring our loved ones in the country.

How can the President say.. Oh Pssst Law enforcement... Don't prosecute or follow the law on this particular seat of criminals. They are breaking the law period. If the president wants to not deport them and let them have work permit's sponsor a bill and get it signed into law.. THEY WAY THE CONSTITUTION SPELLS OUT FOR IT TO BE DONE.

Children that were brought to the USA and grew up there, went to school etc are not trying to be criminals or break the law. Its not very moral to deport them to a country they dont even know. Children cant be held accountable for that.

Obama did a great thing today, but didnt go far enough. He should also relax regular immigration for the people that pay and suffer waiting

What your missing is Obama does not have the power to change law with a swipe of the pen. We have a constitution and if we want to change law we have to go thru Congress and the senate.

I am all for comprehensive sensible immigration reform . However it needs to be done constitutionally, otherwise we have a dictatorship.

we need a gust worker program, and then we need a to make it a Felony to hire or Employee anyone not in this country legally.

Jeez Bob, the child came into the country legally, the father was here legally, NO ONE broke any laws. Now through no fault of the child who has spent almost his whole live in the USA because his father died before his paperwork was done you want to hang him from the nearest cottonwood tree. There should be a way for these children to legally continue the process.

Ok I was misunderstood. I am not talking about this case in particular I was talking about Obama's circumvention of the law. If the kid's parents where her legal then by all means.

I was talking about kids who were never here legally or their parents.

BTW...referencing the other "Quidilla" thread...I posted... the petition does not require "first and last name". I want to clarify.

Anonymous signatures are being removed from the petition signature list. (but) We (my wife and I) have noticed... any signature listing at least a name (first or last or even an alias) is being accepted.

The signatures are being tied to IP address for authenticity.

I noticed a (small) spike in signatures coinciding with the (other) thread exposing John to VJ community. More than a few were anonymous and were removed.

Sorry for my miscommunication.

I recognize a handful of VJ's signed the petition bcoz I know some of them. I also noticed Paramedic(918) posted his VJ profile name in the comment section. Thanks to all!
