NVC Case Closed today - How long to get an interview in New Delhi

NVC case closed today. But no interview yet.

Is it possible to get an interview in New Delhi in July??

i really hope you get a July interview date, our case was complete on the 17th and we had to wait till June 7 to have a case assigned.... they always say that they only make interviews in the first 2 weeks of each month.... but i have seen some people get an interview all throughout the month, but then you might be lucky and get it assigned soon!! :thumbs: :thumbs:

Saylin, You were absolutely right about time between submitting AOS and DS 230 and Case completion at NVC. It took exactly 1 week.

Do you have data tracking New Delhi interviews ? Trying to figure out if we can interview in July?

I have seen ppl who had to wait for 2 to 3 weeks sometimes to get their interview date assigned at Mumbai and Delhi consulate. Keep calling NVC and DOS everyday until they have assigned you an interview date.

is there any use of calling new delhi embassy and asking about july interview dates. because nvc says they are waiting to get appointment slots from new delhi.

US Consulate in India won't have any information about your case until NVC has forwarded your file to them. NVC will forward your file to consulate only after your interview date is assigned. So there is no point in calling Delhi consulate. Keep calling NVC and DOS every day until they assign you a date.

thanks everyone, interview scheduled for august now..

so i have to pay VFS courier fees and get medical exam done before interview .

anything else i need to be aware of ?

our is spouse visa case CR 1 ... what documents should we take for relationship proof??
