Funny, I remember reading all of these threads before I filed about how fast VSC was and how slow CSC was. I was so happy when I found out mine was going to VSC. SMH! :bonk:

I thought the exact same thing as you back when I first filed and my petition was sent to Vermont. I was ecstatic....for a short while. Hahaha. Boy, did I get duped! Anyway, I didn't mean to barge in on your all's thread - just wanted to wish everyone luck and hope that VSC speeds up. (Nice to see a fellow Louisvillian on these boards, too).

Looks like everything has been pretty quiet around here. Any new updates? Next week will be 4 months since our NOA1. I check everyday and nothing.

What should we expect? Can any of you CSC filers that have received your NOA2 tell us what to expect?

Hi there! Also a June filer. Sent to the Vermont Service Center. Right now, our estimated NOA2 date is December 22-28 which is almost a month later than the five month target review... We have an April wedding planned and are starting to stress as the VSC backlog gets longer and longer... Looking forward to seeing all of your updates and hopefully we will all start getting responses!

I'm thinking Jan 2013

Anything before that will be a pleasant surprise!

Then it'll be the wait for a MNL# and an appointment at the embassy! lol

Hey things could speed up?

I'm reading its hard to contact NVC now on the phone

Yep. I agree. They updated their information yesterday saying as of Auguest 31st they were working on early March. Basically, in a month they have only worked through a week's applications. Sad Sad Sad.

An April wedding sounds fantastic. I was actually hoping for an outdoor spring wedding, but it looks like I will end up with an indoor blistering hot summer wedding. :-(

Got the NOA1 on June 21. Stuck with VSC :( :( :(

Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

It's honestly silly tho how uneven the processing times between the service centers are. I wonder why they even keep sending the stuff into Vermont at all when they are that clogged. Sense? Makes none.

OK Fellow June filers.....

Unrealistically we are getting close to our 5 month timeframe and I am curious if anybody else is working on their police check, had their medical or anything else.

I am thinking that *maybe* if we can have everything in hand once we get through this NOA2 process that maybe we can get the interview scheduled relatively quickly. Who knows?! I am curious if I am behind on anything.

Sooooo......what have you been doing since you got your NOA1?
