I guess you would be the right person to ask, or anyone who knows the process feel free to answer:

I just filed the I130 for my wife, I wanted to get an idea of what (legal) documents I will be needing moving forward as well as the forms (and fees) I will have to file/pay.

Is the NOA2 the next step after filing? if so, what is it asking you to do or submit, I have a chance to get documents from my country since my brother will be traveling back home (been on vacation), I want to use him to bring my documents over and not have to pay international shipping a few months down the road.

After filling the I-130 you should get a NOA1 and after a NOA2 meaning that your I-130 was approved and the next step will be moving to NVC process! Let me ask are you a USC or LPR?

All the forms and documents you will need are listed there. Your profile says Naturalisation Pending - if that is the case you will need to contact USCIS or NVC when you become a USC to ask that your petition be upgraded.

congratulation your noa2 took exactly 2o weeks its seems that they are working on systematic way :) thank you for sharing us your experince it give hope to us I am a Febreuary filler so lets hope that they are getting closer :D

Hi Cathy,

I just want to thank you for being the motivator person to encourage me joining VJ your case is so similar to mine and because of you we applied for I 130 as a LPR now my husband is us citizen and we upgraded our petition from f2a to cr1 its about a month now but we just received an email from them saying your case is in active processing as us citizen but we didn't received any hard copy or online update is that normal

Are they counting from my piority date or from the date we made the request to upgrade
