Hi,

Everybody got another question? Mainly for the couples who are bringing their love ones from the Philippines... What web sites or airlines are you guys using to fly them here and/or who is the cheapest? Thanks

Even though we are far from each other right now I know you are close to me in other ways, you are always here in my heart. You give me reason to look forward to each day,You are my life and a dream come true.there are no words to express how i feel for you.You are the light in my darkness. There could never be words strong enough to express my love for you but I'm going to show it to you everyday as long as i live.I love you with my body, soul and mind.I love you very much baby.Mwaaaaaaaaah!

Your Wife to be,

Aijeen

My husband (then fiancee) purchased the ticket through expedia.com because that was the cheapest way that time than purchasing it from the Philippines ( 2 weeks before the flight date that we wanted). Just try to check travel agency near you too. Good Luck!

I used www.cheapoair.com/ and I found the best prices. But you must check on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because that is when the airlines match the low fares of the other sites. Try to get the flight about 3 weeks to 4 weeks in advance.

Sometimes the cheapest is not always the best option. When talking about a couple of thousands of dollars or even one thousand, saving fifty to one hundred or even two hundred should be weighed against travel time, layovers, and POE for the immigrant. I would love to do the ALA to LHR to DEN as that layover is 2.5 hours. However it costs $5000. So we end up doing the ALA to FRA to DEN with a 7 hour layover but no connecting flights or POE except for the destination. Just remember that if the POE is not the final destination the immigrant will have to go thru immigration and customs then navigate to the connecting flight all in the allotted time. This process is expensive and to cut corners here could make the whole entry into the US an unpleasant experience.

If we did not have a direct flight, I would have met my fiancee at the POE, spent the night and then the two of us together would have travelled to the final destination. So don't just consider the money at this very important statge of the journey as you are talking about your future lifelong mate.

Good luck,

Dave

Just booked direct from airline (Phil airline) $1600 for 2 one way tickets including tax. Was going to booked via Expedia found that direct from Phil airline was $400 hundred cheaper. Just have to time it when they have the cheaper tickets available. You need to keep an eye out though as they sell out fast..

I would first have your fiancee check with local travel agents in Philippines. Usually as one pointed out they are cheaper. I use BT Travel website and found them to be cheaper on most occassions. RIght now they are 400 cheaper at Christmas time for me to travel their round trip. I also compared one way for my fiancee in January (hopefully) and they were 200 dollars cheaper than everyone else. Also if you have an Asian Mart in your home area here in the states, sometimes they can sell or direct you to someone that sells flights cheaper as they buy as a consolidator.

Here is BT's website. http://www.bt-store.com/

I've used many of those above all with good or great results, travelocity probably the best of those....but since i found this site, i've never got a better deal anywhere else, last minute can be cheaper sometimes too.
