Great to hear! Congrats! I noticed that your case was transferred to Cali about a month after ours was too, and we are still waiting. Hopefully, this is a good sign.

K-1 Visa

11-08-2010: I-129F sent to USCIS.
11-15-2010: NOA1 received.
4-27-2011: NOA2 sent out.
5-5-2011: NVC confirmation sent.
5-30-2011: Packet 3 received from US Embassy in Bangkok.
6-28-2011: Packet 3 sent to US Embassy.
7-28-2011: Packet 4 and interview appointment notification received.
8-30-2011: Interview appointment: Approved.
10-24-2011: My fiance arrived in the US!
12-9-2011: Married!
12-23-2011: I-485/I-765/I-131 submitted to Chicago lockbox.
12-29-2011: I-485/I-765/I-131 materials received.
1-23-2012: Notice of transfer of I-485 application to California.
2-3-2012: Bio-metrics.

Timeline

Yea, we filed in December of 2011 then transferred to California for faster processing. I think we would have rather had the interview and been processed like others. California is more like snail pace. They havent touched the case since the begining of Jan 2012. still waiting. Called service number and was told we were out of the normal processing time of 4 months and she made a service request. Then told me to call back on 15 days. I was hoping to take my wife on a cruise but we have to wait for the green card. Sure her work permit has the parole stamp but if you read the fine print that comes with it, it says there is no garrantee that she will be let back into the country. So we have to wait.

Transferred to Cali last year, December 2011 and still waiting :)
