Hmm.. I had a cover letter, then I think 2 pages of table of contents.. Oh wait, I'm on my way to Foxwoods now, i'll attach our table of contents for a complete reference on what the heck made my package 30 freakin' bucks. Lol.

Apparently my packet has been delivered yesterday at 1.34pm! It wasn't updated on the track & confirm until today. It feels good to know it's there. Can't wait to hear more updates!!!!

lol I'm sure we all did a little bit of that. :lol:

I didn't do the ap. Could be a lot of reasons on size difference. Like how it was packaged and such.

Yay back home! We had a great vaca. xD

Update!! When we got back today, there's my biometrics waiting in the mail!!! I guess USCIS works during the weekends? Mine's scheduled for Jul 2. I will try to show up early because we will be out that week for 4th of July..

I will read around and see what people's experiences are about early walk-ins. Maybe I should make brownies and give them to the guards if they were being difficult. LOL!

I hope everyone's will be getting theirs very soon too.

Good luck to yours!! Congratulations on getting it sent. I was telling my BFF that it's putting together the package that is hard work, but she disagrees saying that waiting is more torturous to her. Hehe.

It would be funny to go and say, "I'm here for an early walk-in Biometrics. *shoves brownies under their noses* BROWNIES??"

I'll try going tomorrow morning..if I get shoo-ed away, I will try again Thursday afternoon. I might not be brave enough for offering brownies.. xD

Yes, in boston! I will take the train to north station and walk .2 miles from there. Or maybe it's 2 mins.. Will have to look again. They said parking is a pain so I don't think I want to try that..

I'll keep everyone updated on how it went. They said Boston peeps are friendly down at that office. I think it's luck. I hope odds are with me tomorrow!

June 13th, 2012: received text messages and emails confirming application reception

June 15th, 2012: received hard copies of NOAs (dated June 12th)

July 2nd, 2012: received biometrics appointment letter, scheduled on July 17th

July 17th, 2012: biometrics appointment completed at 10am

It was in the Instructions that they need all the pages of the US Citizen's passport.. So just had to do it... while there, i also did myself to not waste the sheet of paper. I had mine on the bottom side of the sheet. Yeah, we included a couple of pictures just for good measure. Lol. What evidences did you submit?

I put my husband's birth certificate front and back instead of passport, that was another option.

For evidence, I put car insurance, car registration (both our names on both documents), joint bank account paper and photocopies of our driver licenses (same address).

Oh yes, true true. I remember my husband didn't want to bother looking for his bc (with his mom) so we used passport instead. :) that part makes a huge difference.

Trying to do a walk-in this morning...wish me luck please.... *fingers crossed*

02/14/2012 - THE proposal

03/26/2012 - Married

04/4/2012 - Went to Civil Surgeon for med exam

04/6/2012 - TB results negative and received the sealed envelope for i-693 (medical records)

AOS Journey

Day 0 05/29/2012 TUES - Finally mailed the package to Chicago, around 1pm

Day 1 05/30/2012 WEDS - Package delivered to USCIS office, signed by John Chybs @ 4+pm

Day 4 06/04/2012 MON - Email and text notification that application has been received @ 7+pm

Day 5 06/05/2012 Tues - Checks cashed

Day 7 06/07/2012 Thurs - Hard copies of i-797 (NOA) received

Day 9 06/09/2012 - Sat - Biometrics hard copy received, appointment for July 2nd.

Day 11 06/11/2012 - Mon - Walk-in Biometrics in Boston successful (exactly 3 weeks early)

Day 43 07/26/2012 - Thu - Got text and email message about scheduled interview date for August 30th.

Day 52 08/08/2012 Weds - Received notification for EAD Production and Post Decision Activity for AP

Day 58 08/16/2012 Thu - EAD/AP card on hand

Day 68 08/30/2012 - Thurs - INTERVIEW DATE!- approved on the spot.
