Waiting for DNA Test Appointment

AOA,

I had a RFE that Co tell us at the time of interview for DNA test for proving a relationship of me and my daughters,and for that i paid AABB lab and Well, they send the kit thru fedex to the Islamabad embassy. Now my question is that how long until the appointment for the sample gathering at the Islamabad embassy?as kit already been recieved usa embassy islamabad at 24 may-2012 but uptill now they dont be contacted me for an appointment. Furthermore i also know that this DNA Test for immi. purpose is very common in African contries where i read some thread that they call for an appointment with in a month but not any idea for pakistan. Please help me regarding that. I m really thanful for that .

The US Embassy says in their web site "Once the U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad receives a DNA kit from an accredited laboratory in the U.S., they will contact the visa applicant who needs to provide a DNA sample, and provide him or her with an appointment to come to the Embassy". It looks like as soon they get the kit.Call them to see what's going on.Good luck

regarding that issue and lets see what they will be tell me.One more thing i want 2 ask u after taken dna sample how much time it require to provide the result and after that how much time it require to get a visa?

As far I know the whole DNA process in Islamabad may take several months to complete.Good luck.

I am going through the same process for my daughter.

My DNA test kit was also delivered on May 24 to islamabady us embassy and I have not heard from them since.

They are not responding to emails either and when I call I can't get a hold of them during their phone call timings.

Has your family got anything yet as far as an appointment letter or anything?

Were you able to contact them and what did they say if you were able?

I think we should stay in touch to see what happens for both of our DNA test's.

I hope to hear a response with you soon.
