Yep, it is saying what you already knew....you gotta hang tough for awhile longer......

It means: They did a service request as you asked them to look into your case, because you felt it was Outside Normal Processing Times, and after they review your case they found Your case is currently being adjudicated, meaning its still being processed at a normal rate!

I no the feeling, i did this too!

it's coming, I promise be a little more patient!!

Sounds to me like it means don't call us and we will send you a letter when we need something or are done. Sounds suspiciously like they just copied the status page on the USCIS web site and changed a word or two.

To me it sounds like they are pulling your case out for adjudicating. You may hear soon from them

Just a call centre's lip service. All I hear from them with service requests is"BLAH, BLAH, BLAH" It's all to humor us. Been down that road last year a few times. Sorry but it will happen when it happens. Sigh. I know it is difficult but keep hanging in there.

Forgetting your case, or losing it is a legitimate worry...

"The centers together lose an average of 27,000 alien registration files each month, by in-office workers and teleworkers, the IG said. The missing files typically contain personally identifiable information such as Social Security numbers, fingerprints and photographs, the report states.

The IG found that the two service centers with the highest rates of telework participation experienced the highest rates of missing files. The Vermont service center was responsible for 39 percent of the lost files; its telework participation rate was 23 percent. The Texas service center accounted for 32 percent of the lost files, and its telework participation rate was 24 percent.

The Nebraska center accounted for 17 percent of the lost files and had a 17 percent teleworking rate, while the California center was responsible for 12 percent of the lost files and had a 7 percent telework rate, the report states."

This is from an article I found from June of last year...percentages could be higher or lower today...my guess is higher.

It means that it is about right time to contact your Congressman because if you don't, you may spend another 45 days of finding yourself checking the USCIS website for your case status multiple times a day.

I hope not, definitely not but if they have lost your case file, you should expect some silly RFE like (Passport Photos, You did not sign the I-130 properly or signed at wrong place). Why? because if they have lost the petition in "working from home" process, they have to come up with some excuse to cover up their blunder.

Enough of reality talk, back to "hope" talk. Do not lose hope and contact your Congressman, tell them that your are being treated irrationally and you have not heard anything from USCIS and that you are beyond their "National Processing Goal".

5mos 10 days of waiting.. guess our i130 is lost by some teleworker at some point..already asked assistance from the senator and congressman,said they're gonna look into it... i guess it's better if they said their gonna help find our lost i130...sigh... no service request yet coz they might send the same email.. but might have to do it since there's no other choice.. aside from waiting of course...

you got to give it at least 7 months before being so upset...

5 months is the average... some people will get it in 3 and some in 7.
