My husband came to NY with the k-1 visa and we got married in January and now 16 of this month our Adjustment of Status came out very fast and he already has permanent residence for 2 years, I would like to know if now I can include my spouse on my insurance (Medicare) where I have already to my daughter or is it that he would have to take apart an insurance, or when my husband could have health insurance? Since I had understood that while my husband was here, he could not ask for any kind of help.

I hope you answer me thanks.

Not a US citizenship question. Moving to "moving here and your new life in America."

I dont think he qualifies for it because its a means tested insurance that is if it is provided by the gov't. due to lack of income or disability.

Nobody can add a spouse to Medicare. Each individual has to qualify himself/herself. Usually it is after a person turns 65 or 2 years after receiving disability benefits.

Medicaid is a totally different issue. It depends on your income and if you meet certain categories (child, senior, disabled person, parent of a minot living in the house, etc). He will also have to qualify himself.

If you have private insurance, you will have to contact the company directly.

Life is beautiful
