Is one Service Center better than the other - or is it hit or miss?

I live in NY now but could be moving to Charlotte, NC or Portland, Oregon probably mid June. I was thinking of just sending from NY and then having the correspondence sent to me by my parents. I hear that changing addresses can slow things down. OR I could just wait to see where I end up and use my new address there.

It fluctuates. Sometimes Vermont is faster, sometimes it's California. Take a look at Igor's List (under Immigration Timelines at the top) to see who is getting processed and where their petition is. :)

Okay, I have addressed our letters to the Dallas location as that's the address the letter templates had.

Many people said they addressed them to the Vermont Service Center.

Someone addressed them to this address?

National Visa Center

Attn: CMR

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

I don't know what to put anymore!

When in doubt, follow the printed USCIS I-129F instructions.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Hi, Read this Guide very well http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Your check should be in the amount of $340.00 , Made out to: US Department Of Homeland Security

All I-129F petitions are sent to the Dallas lockbox address, from there they're forwarded to one of two services centers, Vermont or California.

Good Luck on your Visa Journey :)
