its been 3 months shoould the aos packet have been sent already? attorneys been giving me the run around?

Im covered under 245-i . Unmarried child of a born USC. I ewi back in 1996 from honduras. My i-130 was done january 2000. Up until now ive been undocumented because of financial issues and lack of knowledge. Now that ive hired my lawyer to get my aos done weve faced some issues because of my medical the cosponsor and so forth. But about 2 weeks ago his assistant told me everything was set. But if my papers were sent out i wouldve received a notice through the mail from uscis right? Im not even sure if when he said "everythhing is set" he meant my aos was sent or just that all the paperwork was ready. Ive been trying to get in contact with my lawyer but his assistant keeps saying hell call me back. 3 days later nothing. Im frustrated is 3 months reasonable for everything to be prepared? Im in los angeles so i wouldve gotten a notice by mail right? Thank you.

June, 1996: EWI from Honduras and been here ever since !
April , 2001: American born father filed I-130
May 22 , 2012 : Lawyer sent AOS
June 10, 2012 : checks cashed
June 11, 2012 : NOA's arrived
June 13, 2012 : Biometrics appointment arrived for July 5th
June 19, 2012: Succesful walk-in at Bellflower,ca office
July 25, 2012 : First card production ordered text/email
July 30, 2012 : second card production ordered text/email
July 30 ,2012 : Third text/email approval notice sent
July 31,2012 : Fourth text/email usps reported it picked up email
Aug 2, 2012 : Fifth email USPS has delivered your new card at address on file
Sep 7,2012 : Text notification update: On September7th we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 10,2012!!
Sep 10,2012: receieved interview letter in the mail for October 10 at LA field office!

May 6,2013 : Recieved email I-485 approved

May 10,2013: card document production ordered/ received Welcome letter

May 16,2013: Received Green Card in Mail!

You should have definitely gotten a receipt by now. GO to your lawyer's office if at all possible. If they sent out your I-130 3 months ago, you should be half way through with your waiting. Your lawyer will give you the run around for as long as ou let him!

9/17/2011 - sent I-13

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

KIDS' CASES

04/20/2012: NOA107/20/2012: instead of an approval, we got thrown into AP. sigh

11/01/2012: Boys' I-130 interview set for November 28, 2012.

11/28/2012: I-130s APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

NVC

12/14/2012: NVC Received

12/31/2012: Case number/IIN

12/31/2012: DS-3032 sent

01/08/2013: DS-3032 accepted

01/02/2013: AOS bill0

1/03/2013: AOS bill shows PAID

01/04/2013: AOS package sent

01/09/2013: IV bill

01/10/2013: IV bill shows PAID

01/11/2013: IV package sent

01/23/2013: Case complete

02/01/2013: Interview scheduled

US Embassy Lagos

02/22/2013: Embassy received

03/01/2013: Medical

03/20/2013: Interview - was told the boys would have been approved on the spot if they had pics! Errrr :-(

04/15/2013: DNA test

05/15/2013: Emailed embassy BEGGING them to let boys drop off passports for visa insertion. IT WORKED!!!

05/31/2013: Visa in hand

06/02/2013: POE JFK!!!!!!

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

5/23/12: Sent out package

The lawyer's office is probably getting the receipt, not you.

We have a lawyer and the receipts come to us. I don't know if they go to him also, but OP should definitely figure things out and make sure to get on the list so they send to her as well.

We filed through a lawyer and all the receipt notices were sent to me as well as the lawyer's office. He also sent me a copy of everything that he submitted as it was submitted.

The assistant should be able to tell if the packet was sent or not, probably no details, but at least if it was sent.
