My wife and I are trying to get the papers and money together to send off for the adjustment of status (green card) Her K-1 visa has already expired and we have the biometrics done. Now it's just a matter of the money......how long do we have????

The K1 visa expired the moment she used it to cross the border. It's just a one time entry Visa that lets you come here to get married. If you got married within the 90 days, you're good to go. File when you can.

EDIT: Wait ... how did you have a biometrics appointment if you hadn't filed for AOS?

I second this. How did you do biometrics without filing for AOS? The biometrics fee is paid along with the I-485 filing fee, $985 + $85 = $1070. Then you are sent a biometrics appointment letter with the address of the office you need to go to, the date and time you are to show up there, and what to bring with you.
