Employment Verification Letter

So my wife has reached the final interview stage with her potential new employer (3rd interview with the head of schools) which usually means that an offer will be made the following day. She will be moving to FL before I do.

She is the citizen. I am the spouse.

I'm wondering for assessment purposes, if you could use an employment verification letter (once she accepts the offer of employment) for the Affidavit of Support if she hasn't started work yet. More specifically, the letter of employment verification will be exactly what Immigration wants, except will be written in future tense. This will show that there exists a contract between my wife and her new employer, and that there is not merely an offer that she may or may not have accepted.

Do you think this will hold USCIS over until I am able to produce pay stubs at an interview? She will be starting in August and we will probably get the request for the Affidavit of Support by about June - July or so per the projection timelines.

We're currently both in Canada.

Affidavit of Support paperwork is not submitted to USCIS, it is submitted to the NVC. The AOS fee can be paid as soon as it is invoiced and the paperwork sent when it is ready to be sent.

To answer your question regarding the employment verification letter, if you wife has been officially hired by the school and a contract has been signed, then a letter written by the employer is usable.
