Pre made packets for NVC

Hello everyone! I hope someone can give me an opinion on these. While we were in our process in USCIS waiting for our NOA2, I already prepared the documents needed for the NVC and all the packets. I sent those required originals and other documents to my husband. My questions are:

1. Since i notice that the forms for DS230 expiration changes often, the DS230 i sent my husband is already expired. Would they still accept this or would my husband need to send again the new documents to me through snail mail for me to fill up and put my original signature and send back gain?

2. Since the documents i sent to my husband don't have the bar codes, would they accept it if my husband will give them the packet and just attach the form with bar code on it?

I would not use any expired forms. Why not simply download the new form off the internet, sign and mail it to your husband?

that 'date' is an OMB date for review requests.

I wouldn't worry about it, this go-round.

I noticed that on the ds-230, the expiration date is on page 1 and page 3. What we are doing, is reprinting pages 1 and 3 but keeping 2 and page 4 (page 2 has the signatures). Assuming that the only thing that changes is the expiration date, our strategy should work fine.
