My Japanese wife and are are due to have a baby Oct. 23rd.....she is 16 weeks. I want her to be here when the baby is born, so that I can be present. We filed the I-130 although she it will not be finished for 5 months which will be after the baby is born....the spouse visa would be 6 months so does us no good. Is there anything we can do?

Being pregnant is not a reason for expediting the petition.

Wait for the process to be finished thats all you can do.

1, Have the baby in her country.

2, File the CRBA for the baby and get the US passport for the baby.

3, Travel to the USA together when she has her spousal visa and is all set.
