Greetings VJer,

My interview has been scheduled June 12th at 8ham. Questions: My wife is about to extract pictures from her camera to send to my mail address in Haiti. She will send me pictures of us together and pictures of her being pregnant. Even I'm not in these pics ( pregnancy pics) will they still be taken into account?

P.S. My wife is under high pregnancy we made 2 request of expedite to get a MAY interview but we have a mid june which is not bad at all. My wife wanted to attend the interview with me but her doctor will not allow her to due to the pregnancy state and the airlines will not let her fly as she will be 8 months on my interview date.

Waiting for you to share your opinions, ideas, share your experience guys. Thanks so much for all the support u have been given directly and indirectly to me and to the VJ community.

Since you would not be in those pictures, they would be of little to no value.

May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Oh ok thank you, will have them in the bag just in case. Is there a chance they ask me to wait for the baby's birth to get a second interview with my wife and I? Or will they ask me to have DNA proof?

dna proof not needed for a uscitizen living in the usa.

it's the reverse when the pregnant one is the foreigner.

as to pictures - bring all, have them ready to show.

You need to pine on and on about how your wife is pregnant, and rapidly show her increasing size via the photos, and keeping pining about how you need to be there to help her.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

She has picture of each month of the pregnancy and she will write some notes on their back. I think they are important to bring

So if I understand there is no way that they ask me to wait for my wife to give birth to the baby? One other thing, can they call my wife numb er and have a phone interview with her?
