I guess there's always one other thing to consider...

VJers are only a portion of the petitioners right?

Maybe on the days when no VJers get approved, it's a bunch of people who aren't VJers getting approved and we just have no way of keeping track ;)

Aye, it just seems strange that we haven't had a single approval since October 5th other than one yesterday from Vermont. That's six days without a CSC approval?

Interesting. Kirsten's theory might be right. Oct 1 is the start of the new fiscal year for the US Government. It is now fiscal year 2007 and USCIS has ran out of funding for the Backlog Reducton Act. Lot of temps/contracters are supposedly slated to be let go now. This might not be a temporary delay.

07/10/07 - Sent I-485 via USPS Priority Mail to Chicago Lockbox

07/23/07 - Received NOA1 in my home mailbox

08/13/07 - Received ASC Biometrics Appointment Letter in my home mailbox

08/31/07 - USCIS mailed out Appointment letter with Postmark Date 8/31/07

09/04/07 - Received actual Appointment Letter (Interivew Date 10/30/07)

09/06/07 - Completed Biometrics Appointment at local ASC

10/30/07 - Scheduled AOS Interview Appointment - Approved

Maybe some people dont obsessively check their email (definantly not me) or VJ'ers probably only make up a small percent of the people who file petitions. I found this site by accident after I had hired a lawyer and had been collecting our doucuments for a few months.

I'm still glad i hired the lawyer, since I was approved in 51 days. I would have gladly paid 10x if i could have been guaranteed approval in that amount of time.

ive noticed also when doing search for timelines that some people do get approved but they dont necessarly all post it...

I was making a little list of my own of people from July, august approved since sept 12..and out of 50+ people only 34 members posted about it.

yeah and all these people that are not from VJ. Dont lose hope people!!!
