No Date On Digital Photos, NO PROBLEM!!

When I needed to print the photos of the two of us being together, I took them on a USB stick to Walgreens so that they would be a little better quality than if I did them on my home printer. I used the "do it yourself" photo printer they have, and found that it has the ability to put the date the picture was taken on the front of the photo. I am assuming that it is just as valid as if the camera did it, I know, but it looks really good and I think it should be just as acceptable. Maybe most of you knew this, but I din't. Anyway it is better than not having a date stamp at all.

Honestly they do not care about date stamps on the photos. You can change the date on your camera to whatever date you want and make up photos for any year. They don't use date stamps as any kind of evidence.

Dates are not required. There was no date on the ONE phot I sent with the petition and nothing written on the back either but the two people looked JUST LIKE the ones in the passport photos we sent.

Dates on photos can be changed anyway and are not evidence, photos are secondary evidence themselves

No worries.

While I agree it's odd because it's so easy to manipulate date stamps I actually got an RFE and it listed "film-dated photographs" as secondary evidence. ####### film-dated in the digital age? FILM??? But it came straight from USCIS...

The RFE's suggest types of evidence you can submit, paricularly when more than one tem can meet the requirement, they are not required per se. Film dated photos cannot be altered by a camera program. no one uses them anymore so it is a moot point.
