Hi VJ, I was wondering whether anyone's spouse came to visit eventhough they have a pending case for CR-1 petition? My husband has a valid visa which he has used on many occasions to visit but now we are wondering whether he will be denied at POE because he has a pending petition.

Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Got married: Dec. 3rd, 2011

USCIS:

01/28/12 - I-130 Application filed and sent

02/07/12 - I-130 NOA1 Received neither email nor text.

07/12/12 - Received NOA2

NVC:

08/02/12 - Case number received

08/06/12 - Invoice ID Received

08/09/12 - Aos bill & Ds-3032 received

08/09/12 - AOS bill Paid

08/13/12 - Ds-3032 Accepted

08/15/12 - IV Bill received

08/15/12 - IV bill paid

08/23/12 - Case Completed

09/14/12 - Interview date:10/17/12

09/14/12 - checklist received

Your husband can travel with his visa. My wife has a US visa and came here in February. They asked her a few questions about me and how long she is staying.. She answered all the questions and told them I have filed I130 for them. Tell him to have all his documents... work letter, rental documents. etc

12/16/2011 : I-130 Sent to USCIS

12/21/2011 : I-130 NOA1

05/14/2012 : I-130 NOA2

06/04/2012 : Received at NVC

06/13/2012 : Case number issued by NVC

06/13/2012 : DS-3032 Choice of Agent Email Sent to NVC

06/15/2012 : AOS Bill Issued

06/15/2012 : AOS Bill Paid

06/16/2012 :I-864 AOS package mailed to NVC

06/18/2012 :AOS Payment status: PAID

06/21/2012 - I-864 AOS package received by NVC

06/20/2012 - DS-3032 accepted

06/21/2012 - IV bill invoiced & paid in PROCESS

06/22/12 - IV bill shows PAID

06/21/12 - Mailed IV packet to NVC

06/25/12 - IV packet received @ NVC

06/28/2012- AOS packet Reviewed & Accepted

7/18/2012 - Case Complete at NVC

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Thanks everyone, our hope is that he will lbe here God willing for thanksgiving and our anniversary.. praying we get throught before then if not him and his brother will travel together, that might make it easier to get through.
