In the medical examination papers there is a question if you use tobacco.

i will have to say yes since i smoke i hope i dont get denied for that.

please clear my doubt,

I am pretty sure it is standard, whichever embassy you go through. I smoke and ticked yes to the tobacco question without any problems. You should be fine.

You will not be denied for smoking. They only ask basic questions and you will have a chest xray at time of medical and that is why they ask so when they read it they can check for diseases and such.

Haha, it's quite funny how we think that even little things like smoking might mean we get denied... Just the people at the medical look at it I think, they didn't even mention it on mine.

I wouldn't be surprised if they would deny you a visa if you used tobacco products...they certainly seem to criminalize it enough here.
