I just noticed I'm not on your chart

Hi Tru_loves_journey; it's not an oversight. Your great participation is welcomed and helpful but the K1 process is different than the rest and I wanted to prevent confusion. I'm trying to limit the chart to those "adjusting from work, student and tourists visas" and I thought it would be more helpful to compare your process to other K1s. I don't know how everybody else feel about it? Good luck.

The post read: May 2012 AOS Filers For everyone filing in May to share! So I assumed it was anyone going through the AOS process. I didn't read something right along the way. :bonk:

Trust me I'm not trying to be exclusive. I enjoy reading your posts and I do participate in the thread created for those adjusting from "family based visas" . This website's administrators divided the forum into sections (and they do an excellent job at keeping it organized) so users can easily find information relevant to their case. As you can see the "US Visa Holder and Permanent Resident Immigration Discussion" is divided into two sub-forums " Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" and "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" and each of them has a "May 2012 filers progress report". A user can post anywhere he wants but when it comes to comparing processes and set expectations, it's better to compare an apple to an apple. It changes over time but right now K1 are taking longer to process on average.

well, this forum is for someone who adjust from work, student & tourist visa( says on top)

Everything on this forum should be related to this, otherwise it will be moved to the right forum.

so what Old_Dog_Barking mean is for people who held K1 visa and got transferred to CSC, you guys are taking the whole different process as we do. If we put everybody together it will cause confusion since we will have interview, but you guys don't!

So everybody is more than welcome to chat, but Old_Dog_Barking was just trying to create a timeline for people who are going to have interview.

The EAD process doesn't seem to be following a logical timeline; as the chart can show, most people are still waiting on theirs. If I remember correctly, your mom is adjusting from a K1 so it might be heplful to compare to the others going through the same process (here).

No she adjusting from a B1/B2 tourist visa.

I know it's frustrating for your mom to wait. But there is no order to the approval of EAD.

Having your sister call will certainly not hurt. So it's worth a shot. Good Luck.

Making some progress, now you can wait patiently (if you can  ) for your interview.

Something wrong with your signature. It's been more than 55 days if you applied in the beginning of May.
