Text and email received that my EAD card has been approved. I'm soo happy since I filed my I765 separatley on May 24, can wait to have it in my hands finally

Card is in production July 2nd

Interview July 31st

Happy 4th of July everyone

Congratulations guys! I must admit, I am little jealous :D

My timeline thus far:

- May 10th- Mailed package

- May 14th- Package received

- May 21st- Received NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 in the mail

- May 24th- Received Biometrics appointment in the mail for June 11th

- June 11th- Biometrics appointment

- June 28th- Received interview appointment for July 31st

My EAD still hasn't been confirmed, but I'm hoping I'll get my card in the mail soon. I heard that you need your SS# for the interview, and I can't get mine until I have my work permit. Will there be a problem if I can't get it before the interview? I know that it takes about 2 weeks for your SS# to arrive after you file to get it, and my interview is in 3 weeks, so my work permit needs to get here within the next week!

Good luck on your interview! I don't think it will cause any problem but if you are worried, you can try calling USCIS.

You don't need a SSN for the interview!

I saw you edited post in the other forum and that was the correct forum for your case.

My case isn't an AOS from work, student or tourist visa, though. That's why I moved it to this forum, since it's an AOS from family based visa.

But it's good to know that I won't need my SSN :D

Do you need to make an appointment to get your SSN once you get your work permit? Or do they accept walk-ins?

My timeline thus far:
AOS (2012):
- May 10th- Mailed package
- May 14th- Package received
- May 17th- NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-76
- May 21st- Received NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 in the mail
- May 24th- Received Biometrics appointment in the mail for June 11th
- June 11th- Biometrics appointment
- June 28th- Received interview appointment for July 31st
- July 21st- EAD card production notice
- July 30th- Received EAD card in the mail
- July 31st- AOS interview (approved)
- August 6th- Applied for SSN
- August 9th- Received GC in the mail!! :D
- August 11th- Received SSN card

ROC (2014):

-June 27th- Mailed I-751 (Signature confirmation confirmed the date)

I love receiving text messages from USCIS and updating my Signature :)

Third EAD update received today: "On July 6, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file."

I thought third update would be about USPS picking up the card...maybe after this one....

Congrats guys...

Do you know if the EAD timeline is based from Priority date of AOS Filing(NOA1) or is it based from the day of Biometrics?

As I have seen on May Filers, its dependent on the NOA...

your thoughts pls..

My NOA is May 01, 2012 and biometrics is June 12. Still no EAD as oftoday :((

anyway, I've been browsing jobs at the same time but to date I could not find anything close to my dream job

So maybe thats why my EAD is not yet approved, I'm just thinking out my mind..
