Threads that need stickies.. your thoughts...

For the vets that have been posting here for a while, I pose this question to you. What threads do you think need stickes? The front page of this forum is usually barraged with questions that have probably been answered a million times already. Since most people probably don't know how or don't care to use the search feature how about we make some stickies for these commonly answered questions. Plus these stickes could be helpful to all people who are in need of a refresher on certain key topics, and a general place to add more detailed information whenever someone learns something important about a subject.

Here are a few of my suggestions for stickes

1. Can my spouse visit on a tourist visa while application is pending?

This is probably one of the most asked questions and most confusing for people, especially those new and confused about the process. It probably gets asked 10 times a week.

2.What does touched mean?

3.Should I cancel this application in favor of that one?

Those are just a few that I can think of. Feel free to add your suggestions.

Another question: How can I find out how long this will take? The answer could give brief overview of the steps (ie. USCIS, NVC, Consulate) recent timelines, and link to the USCIS timelines with some explanation.

ALSO - how to sign up for automatic updates (not that they always work)

Also - differences between K3 and I-130.

Sandy.
