i know iam asking alot of question but the reason that i have lawyer in the us and he is dealing with my papers

i just sign in on nvc website and it shows that on my case status

what is that and how long does it take to interview next week we are going to give him the papers of the taxes for the last 3 years and the PCC from lebanon so whats next?

Did you expedite through NVC?

Did you or your lawyer pay the fees to NVC

Did you or your lawyer send the DS-230 and I-864 to NVC?

These are steps your lawyer should be telling you. But he has slowed you down so much through this process that I am not surprised he does not educate you or keep you informed.

You can call NVC yourself and speak to an operator and ask when is my interview

It looks like all you have to do now is send AOS packet & IV packet then case complete. It's just a matter of how quickly you & lawyer get that paperwork in. If all documents are submitted in the next week, you should have CC in May and potentially a June interview (if your embassy still has openings). Many people here on Vj have their packets ready to send off even before the receipts show "paid" which is a time saver.

ok - one of the cool things about using a lawyer, having a G-28 in play,

is that the fee bills at NVC show up at the same time for payment, can be paid together.

there is no ds-3032, as the G-28 supersedes it, so no concept of waiting for IV fee bill.

NOW that both fees are paid,

the documents must be submitted INTO NVC.

Once NVC has added the documents to the casefile, then a final review is performed.

Once the final review is performed, the casefile is lobbed into the scheduling queue for interview appointments.

There is no set time for 'how soon' - all hinges around the time span and duration for getting the documents INTO NVC.

okey first im not the us citizen im her husband from lebanon

and yest my wife called the NVC to ask them about the expedite they told her expedite sends to beirut embassy and by next week they tell us about the desicion its still under review ...

and about the slow part we were waiting from my father in law store for his taxes to complete for the last 3 years and from her uncle the taxes and the employment paper , now all everythings is ready even today i got my PCC and i translate it and the lawyer he sends me the ds-230 monday or tuesday reach lebanon and iam gonna fill it up and send it with my PCC ...and they told us if expedite approve and some papers still missing we can send them directly to the consulate... so i wish by june i can have my interview thanks every1 for the reply
