this is the latest i have after my case was denied on Feb 2, 2012,

Post Decision Activity

We reopened this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) on March 14, 2012, and are now reviewing our earlier decision. We also mailed you a notice describing the next steps in the process. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Our review should be completed within 30 days. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

It's now April 25th and i havent heard anything, does anyone know what could possibly be going on to delay this soo much... I called in today and spoke to a level 2 customer service rep, and she told me that "on the first page it says your application was approved, then she said i went to second page and it said i was denied." Then i told her that my case was reopened on March 14th. So she submitted a request to send me the latest decision... Does anyone know what could be going on, im so confused...

Why it was denied? Call them again after few days. They probably still reviewing your case... cool.gif

01-30-2012: Submitted AOS application thru USPS (Chicago Lockbox)
02-06-2012: Received Text/Email, application received by USCIS
02-10-2012: Received mail/hard copy of I-131 (NOA)
02-15-2012: Received mails/hard copies of I-765 & I-485 (NOAs) / Mail for Biometrics Appt.
03-06-2012: Biometrics Appointment done
03-14-2012: Received mail for Interview Appt on 16th April 2012.
04-04-2012: EAD/AP approved
04-12-2012: EAD/AP card received ;-)
04-16-2012: Interview day - Approved! (waiting for GC)
04-23-2012: Welcome Letter touched
05-03-2012: GC on hand!

We cannot tell you anything from this letter. Why was your petition denied? Why was it reopened? Did you file a motion to reopen? (I-290)

That will tell me a lot more if I know what led to this. USCIS does not deny petitions for no reason, nor do they reopen them just for something to do, So tell me more and maybe I can tell you more.
