Just had my interview and was approved. Met some great fellow VJ'ers at the consulate. Thanks to everyone I met this morning, because we all chatted, I think it really helped relax me. Hope everyone else got approved.

GC-Date: Resident Since 02/13/2013

Sent: N-400 Sent 12/21/2015
NOA: 12/24/2015

Biometrics: 01/20/2016
In Line: 01/25/2016
Int Ltr: 01/28/2016
Interview: 03/08/2016
Oath: 04/14/2016
Field Office: Buffalo NY

I am a US Citizen!!!

Congratulations on your Approval !!!!! Welcome to your new life in the states!

I have a question for yo: Were you asked for I-864 form?

Somebody had an interview on Monday and they were asked for this form.. Mine is coming soon and I would love to have this figured out.

My interview was Tuesday and I was asked for the I-134, which is the same as they told me when I emailed to ask about it 2 months ago.

Congrats to the recent approvals!


The K-1 Visa journey for myself and my two K-2 children:

K-1: NOA1 2011-8-10; NOA2 2012-1-12; Interview 2012-4-24; Visa issued 2012-9-17; POE (Sarnia) 2012-9-26; Wedding! 2012-10-02
AOS: NOA1 2012-11-20; Biometrics 2012-12-14; AP/EAD approved 2013-1-11; Interview 2013-1-31; 2-yr Green cards in hand 2013-2-9 (101 days total)

ROC: NOA1 11-7-14; Biometrics 12-1-14; 10-yr Green cards ordered 4-13-15! (157 days total)

Counting down to naturalization time!

Hi Eli,

I had the I-1864 prepped and ready to go. I tried to give it to the CO but she pushed it back at me and told me that she didn't need it. You were right, someone was asked for this on Monday so I guess it depends on the CO at the time.

I also had a co-sponsor who had a large amount of assets etc and the amount of paperwork that my co-sponsor gave me was crazy, when I pulled this out to give it to to the CO, her eyes almost popped out of her head.
