Is 70k (income obviously) a year enough to co-sponsor 6 people? He has also has some assets, but not a lot at all. Also, I know he has to provide his tax forms, but what about, say, bank statement, proof of ownership of the house, and so on? I'm a student so I made a grand total of $4000 this year.

Yes, that should be more than enough.

If it is just him, his wife and the 6 immigrants, ie a household of 8, he's need a minimum income of $48'612 (and an additional $4950 for any extra people): USCIS Poverty Guidelines

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
