Hello VJ... I would like to know how many times can we call USCIS. I hit my 5 month mark, and other dates that are less than 5 months are already recieving RFE. I called on the 10th,.and they stated that they are still within processing the processing time, 2 weeks after the 5 month mark. Are they serious????? I would like to call them everyday... Thanks for reading.. Have a great day7

Call them everyday. The result will be the same. When you hit 6 months call them again and the result will be the same. There is no guarantee of when a case will be processed. Even a congress person can do nothing except call and inquire, same as you. They will tell the congressperson to check back in 60 days.

I know the waiting seems like an eternity, you can at least be thankful that you haven't had an RFE! :)

Give it another couple of weeks before you get back to them, try to find something to occupy your time so you aren't agonizing over every minute you are waiting. As Gary and Alla said there is no guarantee of when you will be approved, all you can do is try and be patient. The chances are you will be approved very soon.

Have you seen this thread? There are other people also still waiting from November. November 2011 Filers Thread

I would recommend getting your Senator involved after the 5 month mark. It might not help, but it cannot hurt. I have read many postings where Congressional intervention did speed the process up.
