My fiance leaves on wednesday to Juarez, Mexico for his interview and we still do not have the invitation letter. I just called the consulate in Juarez and they said their computers are down so they cant help me. We were told the packet 3 was sent on Feb 28 but we still havent received anything so they said just to go online, fill our the forms and make the appt which we did but I am freaking out about not having this invitation letter for the interview.

Why is he going to CDJ if he doesn't have the interview?

Have you tried contacting NVC?

Good luck

He has the interview all scheduled. The AOS and the interview are scheduled we just still have not received the invitation letter in the mail. We live in cancun so mail sometimes takes months.

You will have to go to the consulate information window really early before any of your appointments are scheduled and ask them to print you a copy of the letter because you never received one. Let them know you have made the trip to Juarez because you have your interview scheduled and you are required to have that letter but you never received it in the mail.

Thank you for all that info. I wonder why they are so mean at that consulate. They have been so so rude to me. I am just worried that my fiance goes and they tell him they cant print it.

Also take anything else you have that indicates you have been approved...print a print out of your status from the USCIS website or anything else.

Good luck!

Mexican mail is unreliable at best, and they know that at the Consulate. I would make sure to go early, and bring evidence of your approval and your scheduled interview (e.g. a printout of the confirmation page, etc.)

Do yourself a favor: don't convince yourselves that they're "mean". They're busy—very, very busy. Go in with a positive attitude and be friendly, confident, and prepared.
