Again, not reasonable advice about the Casa consulate.

Original poster - Tany sent you the link to MENA. I hope you find it helpful.

I happen to have a legit marriage, and we were denied twice. Once in 2010, and another in 2011. Being legit in God's eyes, does not mean it is legit to a consulate. Sometimes, God wants us to wait. If it is their time, they will be approved at this interview. OP, maybe you should email an MOD about having this topic moved to MENA, you will get more realistic answers there from people who know Casa.

Never give up on anything God has told you to believe for; never quit doing anything He has clearly shown you to do. Your diligence will pay off with a blessing from God." -Joyce Meyers

Exactly what Eddie&A said....if he doesn't know an answer, be honest and tell them that. Don't make anything up; chances are they already know the answer before they ask it. And if they don't, they are trained to know when someone isn't telling the truth. My husband was asked a question, something like "What does your brother-in-law) think about this (don''t remember what it was and he isn't here right now to ask)? His answer was "I really don't know". They appreciated his honesty.

Tell him the most important thing is to be relaxed and be himself. Be respectful and look nice (first impressions are always important). Best of luck to you!

Hi Everyone!

My fiance and I are 1 week away from our interview at the consulate in Casablanca, Morocco and we were hoping for any last minute advice that you may have!

We feel prepared and then again, we don't if that makes sense.

Happy thought and sound advice are welcomed!!!

Thanks everyone!!!

Love,

Liza and Redouane

My SO's interview: he went early in the AM, got there early, and was the very last person interviewed, so he had to sit there through all the other interviews - about four hours. He said he just got to a space in his mind where he was resigned to let whatever happened happen. When they asked him about my siblings, he told them what he knew and said he just kept talking and talking. He also only told the truth. I think they already have an idea about whether they will approve or not before the interview. They never looked at any evidence he brought with him, because they said they had everything they needed already.
