k1 or cr1 .. help

hello all im mich from the philippines with 2 kids from my xhubby age 11 and 12 this year

i meet my boyfriend 2008 and meet in person 2009 and decided to make a family in usa

we just want to ask what is better to visa to get where we can bring my kids to usa

k1 visa or cr1 visa? do he need to adopt them? thank u all

No, he doesn't need to adopt them

The K-1 visa might be best for you as it has a derivative visa for your kids

But the Cr-1 will be cheaper for you and your kids in the long run

However, if you only met in 2009 you do not qualify for any type of visa at the moment has you have to have physically met or seen each other in the past 2 years of filing. You mention only 1 meeting in 2009
