I filed my I-751 at the VSC on March 24,2012. I received a biometrics appointment letter on the 9th of April. Is this normal or not? Some people on here said that you should little worry if you recieve bio appt before NOA1....Please help!!

If you got your bio now and have not gotten the NOA1 you need to worry. That NOA1 is the ONLY paper that shows you are extended status in the USA. You must have it. You need to contact USCIS and find out if its gotten lost in the mail and ask them to send another one.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Or they could just stamp your passport at the biometrics appointment to show that your GC has been extended for another year.

10/07/2007 Entered the US on J-1 visa

11/03/2008 Changed status to F-1

02/14/2010 Married

03/15/2010 Filed AOS (from F-1)

05/27/2010 AOS approved, GC Issued

02/28/2012 Mailed I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

03/01/2012 I-751 received by CSC/NOA Issued

03/15/2012 Biometrics letter sent

04/12/2012 Biometrics appointment per letter

05/27/2012 GC expires

They do not do this at biometrics you have to make an infopass appointment to request the stamp.

First of all, this is not a big deal !.... You just follow your Bio app. In the mean time, if NOA comes then no problem. If it doesn't come for a while, It is possible that it has been lost in the USPS.

Like the other members said, make a INFO PASS appointment, get your passport stamped for a year in the place of the Extension letter, same things anyway.

How do I set up an INFO PASS appointment? Please advice me on the procedure(s).
