I called USCIS today and was able to submit a service request. They told me that VSC is still processing February. How is it that they tell me February and they tell you March? There seems to be issues with USCIS well beyond the slow down of processing petitions. If asked, I can tell exactly the status of all the work I have on my desk as a fire inspector. USCIS seems to have great difficulty in knowing where they stand in relation to their current work load.

Your post does not give me high hopes for my service request but at least VSC has stepped it up with the processing of I-129f's.

At least they said they would grant the service request. Maybe I should put one in as well. I held back because I know other April and March filers are being told they are in normal service processing times and denied service requests. You're right. They are very inconsistent, but I know they are well aware of the backlog. Technically, THEY ARE outside of normal processing times, but they get to make up the rules as they go along I guess.

So I did hear from my service request in a letter, and well not to my suprise all it said was that I was within' normal processing times and they are processing March............:bonk: Oh whatever!! I guess here goes to possibly another month of waiting.

I feel you kitkat. I was thinking the same thing about not being able to get Jessa here before Christmas. Originally, we thought we would make it all in time, right? What with VSC moving right along at the beginning of the year. I had no idea our timing would have resulted to this. March is slowly moving along so there is hope for the next few weeks. I wonder, do they expect us to not inquire about our cases if 'February 27th' remains posted in the processing times come Oct., Nov., Dec., blah blah blah. I hope I hear something by mid-October because I really don't want to spend my time on the phone with them and emailing them everyday. Seeing some Jan. and Feb. just getting approved is absurd. I know there are outliers, but how do these people fall victim like this? If anything, we have to remain vigilant and proactive.

I put in a service request Sept 11th and they told me I should hear back by sept 26th today via postal mail or email. So of course I did not hear anything and I called customer service and they said they sent me an email today. I called this morning and 8am sharp. I checked my email the last 3 hours and no email. So I call back and they read the email and it said I should get a notice of action withing 30 days and they do not know why i did not get the email and they do not have access to send to me. Does that sound right to any of you or has anyone had a similar situation?????
