who gives the interview date, NVC or the CONSULATE

Hey vjers, am currently waiting for my I130 approval, 4months gone, hopefully we would hear something soon by next month......... my question is who schedules ur interview for you, is it NVC or the CONSULATE? and if its NVC at what point will that be done, its it after your IV has been paid....... thanks for the reply

NVC schedules it after case complete with them. From other posts it seems best to call NVC periodically to ask if your interview has been booked yet and to keep up with the case as it gives better results.

Interview dates are scheduled after your case is completed at the NVC and sent to the US Consulate of Beneficiary's country , I'm at this stage now!!

NVC schedules for I130 and that may take 2-3 weeks after your case is completed.
